Understand your information. Know your choices.
A plain-language guide to information in Guildha: what accompanies your learning, the people involved, and how to ask for help.
Your information, in context
An account, a lesson and a support question each have their own context. These examples help you tell them apart.
| Information involved | What it supports |
|---|---|
| Recognising your account and remembering your settings. | |
| Showing your work and helping identify a next step. | |
| The conversation, activity or audience you choose. | |
| Managing paid access and questions about a purchase. | |
| Keeping sessions working, remembering choices and understanding performance. |
The information involved depends on the features you use and whether you learn independently or through an organisation. This is an overview, not a complete data inventory.
Before publishing a post or sharing a document, check its audience. Content you make public can be read by people beyond your learning group.
A conversation with a Guardian may include your message, previous exchanges and relevant lesson or document content.
Why does the shadow get bigger?
A lamp, a paper star and a screen.
That context helps an AI service respond to the activity you are working on. Share only what the task needs; avoid passwords, identity documents and private information about other people.
AI responses can be wrong. Check explanations against your material, and ask a teacher or trusted adult when an answer needs a second look.
Which providers process this context, how long they keep it and whether it can be used for model training still need to be confirmed in the final notice. This guide does not make a training-use guarantee.
Learning together does not mean everyone has the same role or access.
For a school-managed account, the school is an important contact for questions about enrolment, class records and staff access. Guildha can help with questions about its own services.
For children and teenagers, the final notice must explain age-related protections and the role of a parent or responsible adult. An AI Guardian is a learning companion, not a legal guardian.
Some activities involve services beyond Guildha, such as hosting, message delivery, payments or AI processing.
The service involved depends on the activity. A payment and a question to a Guardian do not necessarily involve the same providers or information.
The final notice needs to identify relevant recipients, processing locations and any arrangements for international transfers. Those details are not yet confirmed here; this guide does not promise that all data stays in one country.
Clearing this browser does not delete information held with an account or by a school.
Account records, uploaded work, support messages and billing records can have different lifecycles. Exact retention periods, backup handling and any legal or security exceptions still need to be set out in the final notice.
If you want information removed, name the account or activity in your request. Signing out, deleting a file and requesting account deletion are different actions.
You can ask about your information without needing to know the name of a law or a technical term.
Ask whether information about you is being processed, what it is used for, who receives it, or how to request access or an export.
Describe what is inaccurate, out of date or no longer needed. Specify the record or activity, and ask what correction, deletion or anonymisation is available.
Name the use of information you want to stop or question. You can ask about withdrawing consent, restricting processing or objecting where applicable.
If a decision based solely on automated processing affects your interests, ask how it was reached and about a review. Include the activity or result, without sharing sensitive records in the first message.
Usage analytics can be switched on or off for this browser. This does not delete information already sent or change your account settings.
Read about cookies & storageWhich rights apply and how a request is handled depend on the applicable law, the information and your relationship with Guildha or your school. A request is not a guarantee of immediate deletion or a change to someone else’s records.
Tell us what you want to understand or change, and which account or activity it relates to.
Contact asks for your name, email and message. If you are asking for someone else, explain your relationship. Do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive student records in your first message.
Opening the form or sending a message does not itself change account settings, delete information or save cookie preferences.
Opens an editable message. Nothing is sent until you choose to submit it.
